Just a few new announcements here at the BAHL. We would like to welcome our four new board members Sean Hanson,Kyle McGlone , Phil Nelson and Brian MacLean. Congratulations on being elected last night. We once again change our regular scheduled board meeting to Monday April 25th at 6:30 here at the Centennial Arena.
With the arena being so busy on the weekends , there will not be very many during the month of March . After the 20th of March will be hosting some weekday skates, so stay tuned to the calendar .
OPEN HOCKEY/ STICK N PUCK
Also returning after the 20th will be more open hockey and stick n pucks to be enjoyed so stay tuned to the ice schedule at the top of the page for those times .
Please check out our new edition to the website , ICE TIME BUTTON takes you right to the calendar that shows the Public Skates, Open Hockey, and Stick N Puck times.
Please be aware that the agenda view on the ice time schedule is for START TIMES. It does show the END TIMES, we have ice cuts scheduled and they do not appear on this view. If there is any confusion look at the WEEK VIEW on the calendar , that view shows the ice cut breaks .
One last thing , I would like to apologize to some of the confusion with ice schedules. I do get a lot last minute changes and cancellations, as you can see I will not let the ice just sit if we have employees on the clock. So some changes are due to staffing hours and cancellations , I would recommend looking at the calendar on the phone to be sure of times. I do not want to upset people , I want the public to enjoy this arena. With this new web site it is so much better and mobile friendly is pretty easy to see the updated schedule..
If you are looking to donate your old hockey gear (or any other sporting equipment), take your equipment to Play It Again Sports located at 1005 24th Street West in Billings. Play It Again Sports will gladly take your old equipment and instead of paying you the customer, the money would get donated to Centennial Ice Arena. You the customer will get a tax donation slip for your contribution.
There is also a program in place for customers who purchase equipment at Play It Again Sports. When you come into the store, tell them you are with the BAHL and 5% of your purchase will go back to the Arena. (This can be any of their items, not just hockey)
This is a great program that could be very successful with the contributions from our great members and with the help of Play It Again Sports. Thank you everyone!
